Amala Spot is a Nigerian restaurant established in 2009 and located in Benin City, specializing in authentic Western Nigerian cuisine. Known for serving traditional dishes like Amala, Ewedu, Gbegiri, and other Yoruba delicacies, the restaurant aimed to strengthen its brand presence and attract a wider customer base.

To help achieve this, I provided locally inspired and culturally relevant designs that resonated with the community. By incorporating traditional motifs, vibrant colors, and familiar elements that reflect Nigerian culinary heritage, I created branding materials that appealed to customers of all ages. My approach blended nostalgia for older patrons with a modern, fresh aesthetic that attracted younger food lovers.

Through visually engaging signage, menus, and promotional materials, I helped enhance Amala Spot’s visibility, making it a standout destination for lovers of Nigerian cuisine. As a result, the restaurant experienced a 7% increase in patronage, reinforcing its reputation as a go-to spot for authentic Western Nigerian dishes in Benin City.
